This registration portal is for graduate free extra guest seats. Places are limited to 75 on a first come first served basis, to a maximum of 2 places. 

Only Registered Graduates can book request these extra seats using their email address. Employers and Provider Guests must not use this registration option.

We will confirm extra graduate guest place requests by 7th October 2024, so please check your email inbox and spam / junk folders!

The Apprentice Graduation is the county's annual ceremony recognising the incredible achievement of our apprentices. The graduation ceremony is free to graduates and recognises apprentices at all levels. It provides a wonderful and important opportunity for apprentices to be recognised equally to their peers undertaking other forms of education and training, including university graduates.

We have hit a new record in 2024 achieving our maximum event capacity of apprentices in record time, a record number of providers and employers. We have even had to operate a waiting list of again this year for graduands! It will be great to share this wonderful event with you.

Approximate timings for the event are (subject final schedule - check our site in the week before the event for final timings and event information, and our email comms with 7 days to go (please check spam/junk folders)):

9:30-11:15am - gown collections in Quire or Nave (side area)

11:15-11:40am - Provider & Employer guests to assemble in Cathedral Nave & apprentice graduands in side Nave areas.

11:30am - Graduates' guests to assembe in the Nave via the Great West Door or North Door.

11:50 noon - Ceremony commences

1:45pm - Ceremony concludes

1:45pm - Post Ceremony Reception starts in the Crypt for invited guests only (closes 2:45pm)

2:15-3:00pm - gown returns
